This policy explains what information Kit N Caboodle collects through this website, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

We may collect contact name, verified email address, phone number, shipping name and address, organization or lab, order notes, cart contents, and research-use acknowledgment. Phone information is collected for account, checkout, order, shipping, fraud-prevention, and customer-support purposes. Providing contact information does not by itself enroll you in marketing. If you contact support, we also receive the information and attachments included in your message.

Google Sign-In and My Caboodle

My Caboodle is Kit N Caboodle's customer account portal. If you choose Google Sign-In, we receive your Google account identifier, verified email address, and basic profile information such as your name. We use this information only to verify identity, create or link your My Caboodle account, and establish a secure account session. Kit N Caboodle does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or your Google password. We do not store Google access tokens, refresh tokens, or your Google password.

Information collected automatically

We may collect basic technical and usage information such as session identifiers, page paths, referral information, browser or device details, and interaction events used to operate, secure, and improve the website.

How information is used

• Process checkout submissions and communicate order steps.
• Confirm stock, documentation, payment, and fulfillment status.
• Provide customer support and respond to policy or privacy requests.
• Send promotional email or text messages only for the communication channel you separately and affirmatively select.
• Detect misuse, protect the website, maintain records, and meet legal obligations.

Payment information

Do not send payment credentials through general website notes or support email. Payment instructions are provided separately for confirmed orders. Payment providers may process information under their own privacy terms.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, account access, email or text communications, payment, shipping, security, recordkeeping, or professional compliance; when required by law; to protect rights and safety; or in connection with a business reorganization. Providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role.

Retention and security

Records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for order operations, support, security, accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations. If you select or revoke a marketing preference, we may retain the communication channel, consent or revocation state, disclosure version and text, source, timestamp, and limited request evidence so we can document your choice and maintain suppression records. We use administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices

Email and text marketing choices are separate and optional. You may change either preference in My Caboodle. Marketing email will include an unsubscribe method. For marketing texts, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help; message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary account, security, order, payment, or shipping communications. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify identity and may retain consent and suppression records or other information when required for legitimate operational or legal reasons.

Age limitation

This website is intended for people age 21 and older. We do not knowingly solicit information from anyone under 21.
